- MOISTURE PROTECTION FOR MASONRY
- When mineral building materials (masonry) come into contact with water, they absorb an amount which depends on their porosity. Water is one of the main causes of structural damage such as cracks, frost damage, algae growth and salt efflorescence. Much of this damage can be prevented or significantly reduced by means of hydrophobic impregnation with organo-silane/siloxane blended compounds. This is a colorless, non-film-forming treatment of mineral substrates (masonry).

A non-hazardous product, environmentally benign
MasonProof™ - Apply when temperatures are above freezing 32°F (0°C). Only dilute as much MasonProof™ as you can use in a few hours. Diluted MasonProof™ will lose its efficacy over time.

MasonProof™ is simple to use and can be easily applied by spray, brush or roller to new or existing masonry structures to protect them from mildew, fungus, efflorescence, leaching, staining, scaling, and spalling corrosion of steel within reinforced concrete is reduced or eliminated. Nano sized MasonProof™ penetrates up to 5mm deep into the substrate and provides repellency into the pores of cementitious structures where other film formers like silicone resins, acrylic resins, and epoxy resins cannot penetrate. Because it functions at the microscopic level it does not eliminate the breathability of the treated structure.
