Our quality standards rely on how well the product works, it’s durability,  its social and environmental impact and yes its affordability.  Buildings and infrastructure are systems and the better and longer a part works the better and longer the system works.  This reduces the environmental impact by keeping the system in longer use and out of a landfill.  Affordability matters - the more affordable the product the more widely it may be used  which in turn potentially reduces the use of a less sustainable alternative. 

To evaluate social and environmental impact of the product we offer we use a selection process that uses the most current guidance from leading organization in sustainable building such as:

• Whole building Design Guide, a program of the National Institute of Building Sciences
• United States Green Building Council(USGBC)
• Natural Step

Where possible we rely on green product standards such as Energy Star, Green Seal standards, ISO 14024, Forestry Stewardship Council.  We also evaluate how our products can help the  entire building achieve as well building standards  and ratings systems such as USGBC’s LEED or National Home builders Institute National Green Building Standard(NGBS).
